Sometimes it’s hard to even get out of bed. Self-soothing or self-care can really help to make you feel better. Give yourself some TLC. Some will work for one person and not another – do what you enjoy and what makes you feel good.
- have a bath
- brush your hair
- get dressed
- read a good book
- paint your nails
- use a face mask
- do some colouring in
- write a diary
- write yourself a kind letter
- try out some hair tutorials
- pluck your eyebrows
- watch your favourite tv programme
- message a friend
- cuddle a hot water bottle
- have a nap
- go for a coffee
- hide your phone for a few hours
- have a day free from social media
- go for a short walk
- write a list of what makes you happy
- moisturise
- paint
- have a spring clean
- do some gardening
- do some exercise
