Wow, what a week!
As someone who couldn’t even leave the house 6 months ago due to crippling anxiety – I can’t believe how far I have come!
During university I became so poorly due to having to do presentations – they terrified me; which is why my friends and family were so proud on Thursday when I went on the Radio! What a massive step.
And yesterday I drove all the way to Bristol on my own. I couldn’t even be a passenger in Bristol a year ago as the roads made me so nervous! I drove a whole 280 miles yesterday – and I stayed calm!
How did I do it? – Mindfulness.
Pure and simple. I could not have a job, go shopping, see friends or drive without my grounding techniques.
It’s all about being in the present and accepting everything as it is without preference.
You can do anything if you take it one step at a time. Focus on this second; now what COULD happen next.
If I can do it, so can you; we can all be strong if we work together 🙂
